"Choices"

"Choices" is Mortgage Express' flexible payments facility. It allows you to overpay to reduce the term and cost of your mortgage, underpay and take a payment holiday.

It is available on our Buy-to-Let and Self Cert mortgages.

Overpayments:

Maximum overpayment is the same amount as the monthly mortgage payment.
Minimum overpayment is £25 per month, rising in multiples of £5.
Customers can overpay regularly for as long or as short a period as they like.
Lump sum overpayments are not allowed.
Changes to payments are free.

Once you have built up enough funds from overpayments, the following additional Choices features are available:

Underpayments - pay less every month by an agreed amount.
Payment holidays - accumulated funds can be used to fund a payment holiday.
Cash withdrawal - all or part of the funds accumulated can be taken out in cash.
